今日，从荷兰高等教育国际交流协会中国办公室-Neso China得到证实，中国学生将可以使用托福网考成绩申请赴荷兰留学。这也就意味着，中国学生可以用雅思和托福网考两个成绩来申请荷兰所有的公立大学。自2006年始，由ETS倡导推广并引入中国以来，新托福对学生英语能力的测试比老托福高出了很多。而新托福这一特点则完全吻合了荷兰政府和大学希望了解中国学生英语水平的目的。
